Mary (Maloof) Sullivan

Mary Maloof Sullivan of Roslindale passed away on October 4, 2016. She was 97 years old.
Born and raised in Boston's South End, "Minnie" graduated from Boston Girls' High School and trained to be a hairdresser. She worked for many years as a Teacher's Aide at the Charles Mackey School, and spent many Saturdays at her sidewalk sale at the corner of Tremont and Hanson St. in her beloved South End. She loved playing the Lottery, especially her scratch tickets.
Mary was the devoted mother of John S. Sullivan and his wife Sandra of Maine. Dear grandmother "Situ" of Stephanie Menard and her husband Dallas of Maine. Great grandmother of Hannah, Paige and Dallas. Loving sister of Madeline Corey of Roslindale, Wallace Habib of Oregon, and the late Robert Habeeb, Frederick Maloof, and Richard Maloof. Aunt of Sharon, Jesseca, Robin, Jimmy, Glen and Scott. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Anna and Nadra Habeeb Maloof, and her former husband John L. Sullivan.
Minnie's Funeral Service was held October 7, 2016. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury.

Mary was laid to rest on a picturesque hillside at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
