Michael D. Metcalf

Michael D. Metcalf Sr. passed away on April 16, 2022. He was 57 years old.

Mike wore his heart on his sleeve and was a very hard worker. He took pride in his work and had a strong faith in God. He loved animals, especially bulldogs, and his cat, Shrimpy. Mike enjoyed history and politics, listening to 80’s music and eating fried clams at Wollaston Beach in the summer time. He was easy to relate to and very down to earth and was happiest spending time with his family and life-long friends.

Mike was the dear and devoted husband of the late Jody (Janjigian). Loving father of Michael D. Metcalf Jr. and Julia Metcalf, both of Foxborough. Dear son of the late Charles and Lorraine (Cole). Dear son-in-law of Paul Janjigian Sr. of West Roxbury. Dear brother-in-law of Dawn Janjigian of Dedham and Paul and Maryann Janjigian of Dedham. He is also survived by his loving cat, Shrimpy and many loving friends.

Mike’s Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa of Avila Church. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Mike will be laid to rest with his beloved Jody at St. Joseph Cemetery.
