Michael Robert Reid
August 21, 1952 — June 25, 2017
Michael Robert Reid, of Norwood passed away suddenly on June 25, 2017 at the age of 64.
Michael was born and raised in Roslindale, and graduated Roslindale High School. He worked as a plumber his entire working life, as a proud member of UA Local 12, and later for E. M. Duggan Plumbing Co. of Canton. He loved watching classic TV westerns, and sipping his seabreeze, either by his pool or at the beach in Aruba. He was "everyone's favorite funny uncle" to his many nieces and nephews.
Michael was the dear and devoted husband of Janet (O’Hara) Reid. Beloved father of Michael Ryan Reid and his fiancée Dana of Brookline, and the late Sean O’Hara Reid. Loving brother of John Reid Jr., Richard Reid, Evelyn Petroski, Ruthann Beskrowni, Audrey Horgan and the late Margaret Papalegis and Barbara Cullen. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, and his proud pups, Maggie and Lily.
Funeral Service Thursday June 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
