Michel Y. Chammas of Framingham passed away on December 10, 2025. He was 86 years old.
Michel was born and raised in Kfar Hazir, Lebanon. He emigrated to the U.S. over 50 years ago. Shortly after arriving he opened Mike’s Auto Repair and Gas in Wellesley, MA which he operated for over 40 years. Michel enjoyed driving bulldozers, working on cars or anything with his hands, but he was happiest spending time with family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He was the dear and devoted husband of Marie Awad Dagher Chammas. Beloved father of Wadad Carter and her husband Jason of Perry, FL; Marilyn Manzi and her husband Anthony of Framingham; Wadih Chammas and his significant other Ashley Cadman of Framingham; Tony Chammas and his significant other Natalia Buscariol of Framingham; Nancy Chammas of Framingham; and Yacoub Chammas of Framingham. Beloved grandfather "Jido" of Jason, Michael, Nina, Marie and Jax. Dear brother of Marie, Salwa, Georgette, Noor, Meeled, and the late Nicholas & George Chammas
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday December 15, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury, as well as the Funeral Service in the Church Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
