Michel Elias Nassar

Michel Elias Nassar, of Woburn, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025 at the age of 89.

Michel was born and raised in Achrafieh, Lebanon.  He worked for many years in the fashion industry as a couture designer.  He also enjoyed spending time with his immediate family, gardening, and reading the Orthodox Bible.

Michel was a loving and devoted husband of Rose (Chamoun) Nassar.  Beloved father of Elie Michel Nassar and his wife Georgina Elias Nassar of Upland, CA; and Nancy Michel Gerges and her husband Frederic Gerges of Lexington, MA.  Loving grandfather “Jido” of Steffi Mary-Lynn Gerges, Tatiana Rose Gerges, Evan Frederic Gerges, Maya Elie Nassar, and Hanna Elie Nassar.  Dear brother of Nicholas Nassar, Houda Jiser, and the late Helene Mrad and Nouhad Accad.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michel’s Funeral Service Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury.  There will be visitation in the Church 9:30-10:00 a.m.  Michel will be laid to rest at The Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
