Mitchell M. Corey

Mitchell M. Corey of Roslindale passed away peacefully on August 11, 2016. He was 91 years old.
Born and raised in Boston's South End, Mitch was a proud U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, Past Commander of the N.G. Beram Veterans Assoc., Past President of the St. George Seniors. He worked for over 30 years as an airline mechanic for Butler Aviation at Boston's Logan Airport.
Mitch was the dear and devoted husband for over 60 years of Madeline (Maloof). Loving father of James Corey of Roslindale, Glen Corey and Susan of Foxboro. Dear "Papa" of Melissa and Brandon Corey. Loving son of the late Moses and Ansara Corey. Loving brother of Dorothy Ridolfi, and the late Edward, Abraham and John Corey. Dear uncle of Roberta and Kenneth Ridolfi, John Sullivan, and many other nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Sunday August 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Funeral Service Monday August 15, 2016 at 12 noon at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mitch's memory may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.
Mitch will be laid to rest with his parents at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
