Mitchell J. Tawa

September 10, 1932 — April 26, 2021

Mitchell J.Tawa of Florida and Rockport passed away peacefully April 26, 2021.

He was the beloved son of the late Habeeb “John” Tawa and Zakieh “Annie” (Galey) Tawa.  Beloved brother of Lucille Tawa of Brookline, and the late Albert, Anthony, Leo and George Tawa, and Mary Haddad.  Mitchell is survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as his loving companion Patricia Tanson.

Mitchell was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Funeral Service Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. Dedham.  Visiting hour in the Church beginning at 9 a.m. Visitors are required to wear masks and practice social distancing in the Church.

Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
