Mouawad N. Melhem

Mouawad N. Melhem, of Norwood, passed away on October 17, 2018.  He was 65 years old.

Mouawad was the dear and devoted husband of Nidaa (Tannous).  Loving father of Robin Whittier of Attleboro, Miraye Melhem of Norwood and Yacoub Melhem of Norwood.  Cherished grandfather of Alexandria and Winslow Jr. Dear brother of Yacoub Melhem of Norwood, Michel Melhem of Westwood and George Melhem of Norwood.  He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews and his brothers and sisters in Lebanon.

Mouawad's Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 55 Emmonsdale Rd. WEST ROXBURY.  Visiting hours will be in the Church Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mouawad’s memory may be made to the Church or to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1615 L Street NW, Suite 430 Washington, DC 20036 (www.curemeso.org).

Mouawad will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
