Myrna Lissette Ortiz Torres

Myrna L. Ortiz Torres of Dorchester, formerly of Roslindale, passed away on July 6, 2018. She was 59 years old.

Myrna was the dear and devoted mother of Carlos Ortiz and his wife Ines Brandao of Charlestown, Andy Ortiz and his wife Joann of Quincy, Margarita Ortiz and her husband Matthew Streeter of Roslindale, Myrna Ortiz of South Boston and Anna Gonzalez of Dorchester. Cherished Grandma and Abuela of Yolairys, Carlos, Yadiel, Khaleesi, Victoria, Sophia, Ezekiel, Derrick, Thalya, Yahana, Noemi, Tony, Alizah, Nauria and the late Anthony. Beloved daughter of Francisco A. Torres Colon and his wife Margarita Garcia and Emilia Nazario. Dear sister of Maritza Torres, Iris Milagro Loock, Laura Torres, Naida Torres, Moses Otero, Gladys Otero, and Jenny Otero, all of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Myrna’s Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY.  Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Myrna’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Myrna will be laid to rest at The Gardens Cemetery in West Roxbury.
