Patricia O'Neil Bender

Patricia O'Neil Bender, formerly of Brighton and Kansas City, Missouri passed away on January 24, 2026. She was 83 years old. 

"Trish" was the dear and devoted wife of the late Larry Bender. Beloved mother of Christian Bender and his wife Karen of Norwell, and Sean Bender of Kansas City, MO. Dear "Grammy" of Evin, Miles, Owen and Finley Bender. Loving sister of Tom O'Neil of NH and the late Virginia "Ginny" O'Neil. 

Trish worked for many years as an elementary school teacher, as well as a homemaker.  She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family (including her dogs), and the music of Elvis and the Beatles.  She was a devout Catholic, serving her church as both a CCD teacher and a Eucharistic Minister.  Trish always kept in touch with her many friends and extended family, writing letters and calling on the phone.  

There will be a visiting hour at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. WEST ROXBURY Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Theresa of Avila Church. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
