Philip A. Zahka

Philip A. Zahka, of Belmont, passed away on April 1, 2015. He was 77 years old.
Philip was the dear and devoted husband of Judith (Abdow). Loving father of Laura A. McGrath and her husband Richard of Lunenberg, Abraham P. Zahka and his wife Susan of Foxboro, Dr. Cynthia L. Mazzoni and her husband Paul of Belmont and Stephanie B. Burke and her husband Mark of Lexington. Cherished grandfather, "Giddo" of 10. Dear brother of Charles Zahka of CA and Jean Teebagy of Arlington and the late Edward Zahka and Khouria Vivian Ziton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Philip's Funeral Service was held April 4, 2015 at the Church of St. John of Damascus, 300 West St. DEDHAM. Contributions in Philip's memory may be made to the Church or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
Philip was laid to rest with his parents and brother Edward at Fairview Cemetery in Boston.
