Priscilla Ann (Homsy) Goss

Priscilla A. (Homsy) Goss of Norwood, formerly of Roslindale, passed away on December 7, 2024. She was 85 years old.

Born in Boston, Priscilla grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. Following high school she attended Burdette College in Boston. She met the love of her life, James, and together they loved to travel. They cruised to and visited many destinations around the world. They also enjoyed spending time in the summer with their children in Weirs Beach, NH. Priscilla was an avid reader and loved to cook, with her specialties including all kinds of Syrian food. Above all else, Priscilla was happiest surrounded by her loving family and Priscilla is lovingly remembered by her children Elizabeth, Jim & Kim, and Yvonne & Doug, and cherished by her grandchildren, Kiely, Bridgette, Tiernan, and Alex, who were the light of her life.

Priscilla was the dear and devoted wife of the late James D. Goss. Loving mother of Elizabeth Goss of Belmont, James and Kimberly Goss of Westwood, and Yvonne Goss and Doug Rea of Minneapolis, MN. Cherished grandmother, “Tete” of Kiely, Bridgette, Tiernan and Alexander Goss. Dear sister of the late Charles Homsy, Margaret Little and Rose Kunes. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Priscilla’s Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Orthodox Church 8 Inman St. CAMBRIDGE. Visiting hours in the Church Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Priscilla will be laid to rest with her beloved James at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
