Richard L. Williams of Dedham, formerly of NH, passed away on February 25, 2025. He was 84 years old.
Richard was a 3-sport athlete and member of Bishop Bradley High School (Manchester, NH) Class of 1959. His love of sports stayed with him his entire life as he was a fan of all of the Boston sports teams. He would often be found wearing various championship commemorative apparel, such as his Red Sox sweatshirts and Patriots t-shirts and his most recent, Celtics championship hat from last season.
Following high school, Richard enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country for 4 years. After his time in the service, he worked for the Teamsters Local 25 for 33 years before retiring in 1999. He was incredibly handy and could fix anything. He and his wife built one of the homes they lived in for years from the ground up. Something they were both very proud of. He enjoyed traveling, and cruising to Italy, Spain and France. He loved his time living in Plaice Cove in Hampton, NH, and he loved his sweets and desserts. Above else, Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter Olivia.
Richard was the dear and devoted husband of Lucille (DeLellis). Loving father of Jennifer Isveck and her husband Eric of Dedham and beloved grandfather, “Grampa,” of Olivia.
