Robert R. Khouri

Robert R. Khouri of West Roxbury, passed away on August 11, 2010 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was 80 years old. Born in Boston, Robert worked for many years as a letter sorter for the US Postal Service at the South Station office. He retired in 1995 and enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening. Robert was a life-long parishioner of the Church of St. John of Damascus and a member of the West Roxbury Dorchester Lodge of Masons. Robert was the dear and devoted husband of Lillian (Jarjoura). Loving father of Doreen M. Bibilos and her husband George of Melrose and Robert R. Khouri II of West Roxbury . Dear brother of Marion Tahan of CA, Dr. Lorraine Khouri of NY, Janet Khouri of FL and the late Ernest Khouri. Cherished grandfather, “Jido” of Elena, Christina, John and James Bibilos. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Robert's Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. (Rte. 135 at Rte95/128 Exit 17) DEDHAM. Visiting hours in the Church Friday August 13, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Robert’s memory to the Church or to the charity of your choice. Interment will conclude services at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
