Rose Eileen (Tierney) Palonen

Rose E. (Tierney) Palonen of Medford, passed away on June 5, 2021. She was 83 years old.

Rose was the dear and devoted wife of Stuart Palonen. Loving mother of Debra Barbitta and her husband Andrew of SC, Mark Palonen of Waltham and the late Steven Palonen and Sonja Odom. Cherished grandmother, “G’ma,” of Laura, Shawn and Christopher Odom. Dear sister of Patricia Tierney, Jean Dognazzi, Paul Tierney, Michael Tierney, and the late Mary Garnder, Teresa Farmer, Sheila McHugh, Timothy Tierney and Richard Tierney. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Rose's Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY, Friday at 10 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Rose will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
