Sauley Mahanna
April 8, 1921 — April 3, 2013
Sauley Mahanna, of Norwood and Akoura, Lebanon, passed away on April 3, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 91 years old. Born in Brockton on April 8, 1921, Sauley's parents took him to Lebanon when he was a child. His dream was to return to the United States with his family, where his five daughters and two sons would complete their studies and live proud of their culture. He is survived by his cherished wife, Matile (Khaled). Married for 52 years, together they raised their seven children with full love and unmeasured dedication. Sauley's Funeral Mass was celebrated on April 6, 2013 at Our Lady of the Cedars of Lebanon Church in Jamaica Plain.
