Selma Mary Alajajian

Selma (Beshere) Alajajian, of West Roxbury, formerly of Boston’s South Cove, passed away on February 2, 2012. She was 62 years old. Selma was the dear and devoted wife of Richard Alajajian. Loving mother of Alexandra Polito and her husband Jamie of Roslindale and Michael Alajajian of Roslindale. Cherished grandmother “Sitto” of James and Logan Polito. Dear sister of Richard “Butchie” Beshere and his wife Donna of Winthrop, Virginia Bethoney of Jamaica Plain and George Beshere of Roslindale. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Selma's Funeral Mass was celebrated February 7, 2012 at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury. Contributions in Selma’s memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
