Sheila A (O'Loughlin) Maloof

November 17, 1949 — December 18, 2024

Sheila A. (O'Loughlin) Maloof, of Dedham, passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2024.  She was 75 years old.

Sheila grew up with her parents and five sisters in West Roxbury in a big Irish, Catholic family. She met her husband John in high school and married him shortly after graduating. They spent almost sixty years happily in love, and many said that they never saw a couple who cared about each other so much. They later had four children who they brought up in Dedham. She was known for her unwavering love and endless support for her children, always putting their needs first. Her home was a beacon of warmth where she cherished many family gatherings and created countless memories. No one could cook like her and she loved to feed everyone.

She was really the most beautiful, sweet woman and touched many lives. She lived to take care of her children and taught them what unconditional love is. She is definitely an angel in heaven and will never be forgotten. Sheila was beloved by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. She is now in heaven with her youngest son Joey, and they are together again.

Sheila is also survived by her children: James Maloof of Boston, Kimberly Maloof of Norwood, Philip Maloof of Rhode Island, and the late Joseph Maloof.  She was the beloved "Grandma" of Julia Maloof and Leah Sprung.  Dear sister of Frances MacQueen of Westwood, Catherine Dolan of West Roxbury, Carol O'Loughlin of Falmouth, Maureen Doherty of Dedham, and the late Margaret "Peggy" Lloyd.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sheila's visiting hours Monday December 23, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. West Roxbury.
