Tanios "Tony" Homsi

Tanios Aziz "Tony" Homsi of Norwood passed away on August 21, 2025.  He was 77 years old.

Tony was the dear and devoted husband of Madeline (Melki) Homsi.  Beloved father of George Tanios Homsi and his wife Leila Michelle Homsi; Bashir Tanios Homsi; Dr. Joseph Tanios Homsi and his husband Cody Reece Lenart, all of Norwood.  Dear grandfather "Jiddo" of Tanios George Homsi, Petra Sophia Homsi, and Aziza Leila Homsi.  Loving son of the late Chafica and Aziz Homsi.  Brother of Souad Kanj, Josephine Fren, Minerva Maklouf, and the late Eugenie Mouawad, Nouha Deraney, Layla Darazi, and George Homsi.  He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Tony loved spending time with his family, going to Wollaston Beach and Castle Island, listening to his favorite Arabic music, reading, conversations over coffee, going on walks, and debating the latest news and politics.

Tony's Funeral Service will be held Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral 7 VFW Parkway West Roxbury.  Visiting hours will be held in the Cathedral Monday August 25, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  Please consider making a contribution in Tony's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation (see link below under DONATIONS.

Tony will be laid to rest at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
