Theresa Marie (Larosa) Ramaci

Theresa M. (LaRosa) Ramaci, of Canton, formerly of Roslindale, passed away on February 23, 2022. She was 85 years old.

Born and raised in Roslindale, she later moved to West Roxbury and eventually moved to Brightview in Canton where she made some wonderful and caring friends. Her love of knitting and crocheting led to beautiful Irish knit sweaters, hats, mittens, afghans and baby blankets for her entire family from her children to her great grandchildren. In her spare time she would knit cancer caps and donate them to local hospitals. She loved to travel all over the world with her husband. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She and her husband volunteered at the Norwood senior center where her husband supervised the card games.

Theresa was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Christiano) LaRosa. Dear and devoted wife for 65 years of the late Joseph D. Ramaci. Loving mother of Connie Daly and her husband Martin of Canton, Lisa Joseph and her husband Richard of Stoughton and the late Joseph Ramaci Jr. Cherished Nana of Carla, Katelyn, Sean D., Sean R., Meaghan, Nicole, Adam and Matthew and great grandmother of Charlotte, Jackson, Sawyer and Izzy . Sister of Sal LaRosa, the late Anna Harrison, and Vincent LaRosa. She’s also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Theresa’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Chrysostom Church 4750 Washington St. West Roxbury.  relatives and friends are invited to attend.  A celebration of Theresa's life will be held at a later date. Relatives and friends are also invited to the gate of Saint Michael Cemetery, 227 Walk Hill Street, Roslindale, at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday to join the procession to the grave for graveside prayers.
