Vyacheslav "Slava" Verbich

Vyacheslav "Slava" Verbich, of Brighton, passed away on October 20, 2020. He was 78 years old.

Slava came to the United States in 1999 from the Ukraine and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Aleftina Verbich. He was the father of Igor and Alla Verbich of Ashland. Slava was also the grandfather of Denis, Danielle and Milena Verbich of Bellingham.

Please join us in honoring and celebrating Slava’s life. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel at the Gardens Cemetery, located at 670 Baker St. in West Roxbury. Interment will conclude services at the Baker Street Jewish Cemetery, 776 Baker St. Boston. Afterwards, please join the family for a celebratory lunch at Cafe St. Petersburg, located at 57 Union St. in Newton Centre.
