Walter V. Augustans
November 2, 1932 — July 20, 2011
Walter Augustans of West Roxbury, formerly of Manhattan, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on July 20, 2011. He was 78 years old. Walter was a member of the Latvian Fraternity Metropolitana and the American Legion and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Walter was the loving brother of Eleonora Rampans of West Roxbury. Dear uncle of Edward Rampans and his wife Lisa Ann Prestella of Dedham. He is also survived by several loving cousins in Latvia. Walter's Funeral Mass was celebrated July 25, 2011 at St. Theresa of Avila Church. Please make contributions in Walter’s memory to the Deutsches Altenheim 2222 Centre St. West Roxbury, MA 02132 or to the VA Boston Healthcare System 1400 V.F.W. Pkwy, West Roxbury MA 02132. Interment at the Gardens of Gethsemane on Baker Street in West Roxbury.
