Walter L. Hughes, 93 of Peabody, MA formerly of Bellport, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2008. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Lee Berger-Hughes of Arlington, VA and Judith Hughes of Boston and Gloucester, MA, two granddaughters and great granddaughter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the MIT Chapel, 44 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to MIT for the Walter L.
