Yvonne (Moussalli) Maloof

Yvonne (Moussalli) Maloof of West Roxbury, formerly of Dedham, passed away on July 2, 2015. She was 87 years old.
Yvonne was born in Boston's South End on June 2, 1928 to Anthony and Wedad (Bandar) Moussalli. In 1951 she married the love of her life, Frederick, and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Yvonne worked for over 30 years at Star Market in West Roxbury, helping to provide for her beloved family. Taking care of her children and grandchildren, especially preparing and serving Middle Eastern and Italian dishes, was Yvonne's life's work. Her grandchildren helped to fill the void in her life when Frederick passed away in 1993. If you had a conversation with Yvonne in the last 25 years, you heard all about her grandchildren: first Michael, then Andrew and, of course, Ali. They truly were her pride and joy.
Yvonne was the loving mother of Robert F. Maloof and his wife Carol of Norwood, Richard F. Maloof and his wife Amy of Norwood and Nancy Walsh and her husband John of Dedham. Dear sister of Mary Owens of Dedham, Evelyn Carroll of West Roxbury and the late Laurice Pagliaro, Alfred Moussalli and George Moussalli. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Yvonne's Funeral Mass was celebrated July 6, 2015 at St. Susanna Church 262 Needham St. Dedham.

Yvonne was reunited with her beloved Frederick at Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
