Antonietta “Netta” (Peccia) DiLuca, of North Attleboro, formerly of Hyde Park passed away on October 27, 2023. She was 86 years old.
Netta had the kindest soul and was always putting others first. She loved to cook and she was happiest feeding anyone and everyone, including strangers off the street. She was an amazing host and she loved to entertain. Not only did she feed you while you were there, but her guests never left without some of her meatballs, lasagna or sausages. She loved spending time in the garden and always had plenty of fresh basil and tomatoes. Above all else, she loved being surrounded by her loving family and was incredibly proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Netta was the dear and devoted wife of the late Antonio DiLuca. Loving mother of Anna King and her husband Ralph III of North Attleboro, Linda Mahoney and her husband Mark of Brockton and Anthony DiLuca and his wife Kristen of York, PA. Cherished grandmother, “Nonna,” of Michael Cooper, David Cooper and his wife Joanne, and Nicholas and Jacob DiLuca. “Big Nonna” of Emma and Cody Cooper. Dear sister of Louisa MacDonald and her husband Garry, Mario Peccia and the late Gina Scioli. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Netta’s Funeral will be from the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY, Thursday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
