Georgette was a generous and kind woman with a strong sense of honor, faith, heritage, and a true beauty inside and out. With quiet dignity and grace she was truly the matriarch of her family. Georgette loved spending time with her family and reading the Bible. She was a talented seamstress and knitter. Georgette traveled to the Boston area from Lebanon when the situation there was untenable to live with her family. On Sundays she loved being surrounded by her family when hosting and cooking her Lebanese dishes and desserts.
Georgette had a special and unwavering bond with her daughter Mona. Her grandchildren called her Teta, as it was her most favorite name.
Georgette’s family wants to acknowledge and thank the staff at Briarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Needham, MA for their dedicated care, kindness, support, and love Madame received. She was privileged to be in such a wonderful place.
