Margaret E. Bell of Norwood passed away on April 1, 2022 after a yearlong battle with Congestive Heart Failure.
She was born and raised in West Roxbury and was a graduate of Roslindale High School. Margaret went on to get degrees from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University. Her career as a Dental Hygienist spanned many years, most recently in the Medway area. She was known as "Peg" to her colleagues and patients.
Margaret was a kind, compassionate and gentle soul. Over the years she volunteered for many organizations including Girl Scouts, Meals on Wheels and Bridge Over Troubled Waters. When she was no longer able to volunteer in person she continued to support many charities financially.
Margaret was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Veronica “Ronnie” Bell of West Roxbury. She leaves behind her sisters Veronica Bell-Sandler of Arizona and her late husband Jeffrey, and Frances Bell Anderer and her husband Jay of Norwood; and her nephews Jared Sandler and his wife Janet of Arizona and James Anderer lll and his wife Elaine of Middleboro. She was great aunt to Vivianne Margaret Anderer and Owen Sandler.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday April 4th at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Burial will be private.
