Michael Haddad Obituary

Michael Edward Haddad passed away on April 12, 2023.  Michael was born on August 3, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts.  He grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts, and graduated from Winchester High School where his athletic talents contributed to the Sachems’ successes on the field and on the basketball court. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Syracuse University  where he was loved by his friends and Delta Upsilon brothers.

After college, he went on to raise his own family in Yardley, Pennsylvania.  He is survived by his parents Edward and Barbara Haddad, his two daughters Kayla Haddad and Hayley Haddad, their mother Andrenita Haddad, his sister Laura Haddad, brother Chris Haddad, fiancée Allyson Fisher, his beloved dog Swags, and a host of loving family and friends.

Michael had a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that served him well in his career as an accomplished sales manager in the  pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries. He began his 12 year career at Johnson and Johnson where he became A Team Leader for  several of their major products. After Johnson and Johnson, he had Sales Management positions at  AmerisourceBergen and later with  Church and Dwight.

Michael had a huge heart; he was full of love.  He loved his friends and family.  He always had their backs and was always interested to know how they were doing.  While he might give them a hard time in jest, it was always from the heart.  He was masterful at identifying the things someone was sensitive or insecure about, and revealing the humor in it, allowing you to laugh at yourself in a positive way, a way that made you smile.  He also loved dogs.  They trusted him, which made him the envy of all dog Owners; he made it look easy.  His secret was to love them as unconditionally as they loved him.  He was a storyteller, a very funny storyteller.  He could make a mundane story funny and insightful about the truths of our culture.  An important characteristic of most great storytellers is having a good memory, and Michael remembered everything - every detail.  He could recreate a sense of time and place using words with the best of them.  He brought pleasure to the most challenging situations – he was an artist at finding humor in any problem.  While the rest of us wrestled with solutions with furrowed brows, he smiled and laughed as he lightened the mood, opening the door to the answer with humor.

Michael was an essential part of his family, not only as a son and brother, but as a husband and a father.  His real legacy is his daughters Kayla and Hayley.  They were his superstars.  His true opus.  His Masterpiece.  Michael was the best father and always put Kayla and Hayley before anything and everything.  He wanted them to be better and even more successful than he was.  He was the light of their lives; he was everything to them.  He taught them to be confident, selfless, loving, caring, kind to others, and to always be there for each other.  They were the world to him and the love they shared brought his life meaning and joy.

Michael’s story is a beautiful one.  He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him and he will live on in all our hearts forever.
