Michele Jaynes Giusti, 52, of Newton, passed away surrounded by family and friends on July 9, 2020 after a valiant battle on multiple fronts.
Michele was a popular singer and local performer as well as a lifelong horse enthusiast and dressage competitor who worked in the Legal Dept of TJX Companies.
Michele was the daughter of the late Edmund & Nina Jaynes of Newton. She is survived by her husband, Robert Giusti and cousin AnnLouise White, both of Dedham, as well as her lifelong best friend, Sam Borelli.
Michele was a beacon of light and energy, and was a true people magnet – hundreds and hundreds of people from all walks of life were drawn to her and she welcomed them all into her world. From horse folk to musicians, professional colleagues to elementary school friends, Michele brought joy to all she encountered through her kindness, humor, talent, passion, zest for life and strength. Her courage and determination to live life on her terms was an inspiration to all.
Michele loved being near, on, or in water. The beach was her favorite place, and especially cotton candy skies. She loved riding and being near horses. Singing and performing were her true calling and she could sing a lullaby, country classic, gospel song, or belt out a rock ballad like a pro, and she cherished her return to performing in recent years.
Michele would want us to remember the joyful times together, funny stories and deep laughs.
Burial service will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00am, at Evergreen Cemetery, 2060 Commonwealth Ave, Boston. A celebration of life will take place at a later time.
