Patricia Ann (Mahoney) Crawford

Patricia Ann (Mahoney) Crawford, of Norwood, passed away on September 16, 2022. She was 52 years old.

Born and raised in Norwood, Tricia was a sweet and wonderful woman who loved being around people and loved making everyone laugh. Her life wasn’t always easy, but she rose above that and was an extremely caring, giving person. Tricia was incredibly creative as well. She had an eye for interior design and took great pride in helping her family design rooms in their homes. Tricia’s artistic skills ranged from metal work to painting and drawing, and anything in between. She loved creating and making things for her friends and family, and refurnishing items to give them a new life and purpose. Above all else, Tricia was happiest surrounded by her family.

Tricia is the dear and devoted wife of William Szerlong of Norwood. Loving mother of Clinton Mahoney of Norwood. Beloved daughter of Diane (Dima) Mahoney of Norwood and the late Gerald Mahoney Sr. Dear sister and best friend of Lisa Jenks and her partner John Buckley of East Walpole, Gerald Mahoney Jr. and his fiancee Trish Munroe of Norton, James Mahoney and his wife Allison of Norwood and the late Michael P. Mahoney. Dear aunt of Jocelyn, Kelsey, Ashlynn and Bryce Jenks, Kara, Cassidy, Ryan and Matthew Mahoney, Calvin Murphy-Peterson and Amelia Lennon. Great aunt of Freddie, Jayce and Myles Jackson. Dear goddaughter of Paul McGrath of Milton. Dear sister-in-law of Lenard Szerlong of Norwood. 

Tricia’s funeral mass will be held at St Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood, Saturday September 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the mass and pay respects to the family at a gathering held at Lewis Restaurant and Grille immediately following.

Interment will be private and a celebration of Tricia’s life will be held at a later date.
