Shui Tong "Garrie" Woo

Shui Tong “Garrie” Woo of West Roxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan passed away on July 8, 2023. He was 86 years old.

Garrie was a kind, generous man and always had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed making coffee every morning for his wife, going on long walks around the neighborhood, and playing with his grandchildren.

Garrie was the dear and devoted husband of Yuet Mui “Margaret” (Chiu) Woo. Loving father of David Woo of Boston, Eddie Woo and his wife Doris of West Roxbury, Helen Woo of New Orleans, and Sandie Woo and her husband Sean Doyle of Chicago. Cherished “Grandpa” of Leilani, Justin, Kieran and Simon. Dear brother of Hau Har Wong of Boston, Hau Lay Wong of Roslindale, Tony and Teresa Woo of Seattle and the late Lin Chui Loo. Dear brother-in-law of Sheng Nan Zhao and his wife Mei Yin Liang of West Roxbury, and Nu Lan Zhao and her husband Chuk Wing Zhao of Malden. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours which will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY.

The Funeral Procession will leave the Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m.  

Garrie will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain. Following the cemetery service, a luncheon where relatives and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Garrie's life will be held at Ming Seafood Restaurant, 477 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02171.
