Stephen Emmanuel Coq, of West Roxbury, formerly of Attleboro and Hyde Park, passed away on July 30, 2020. He was 28 years old.
Born in Boston, Stephen was a 2010 graduate of Boston Latin School. Following his time at Latin, he studied science and nuclear medicine at Regis College in Weston, graduating in 2014.
Stephen was a joyful, free spirited, strong minded, man. He loved to travel, enjoy the company of his friends, playstation video games, electronics and anime. Stephen was an avid Boston’s Sports fan. He loved to dine out but also enjoyed his home cooked meals, especially from his mom. Stephen was a friend to everyone he met and he loved helping people. He was very excited for the arrival of his future niece.
Stephen was the loving son of Marie Delma and her husband Gregory Pierre of Attleboro. Dear brother of Stacy Coq and her fiancé Bruno Barbosa of Stoughton. Cherished grandson of Marie Yolande Delma of Dorchester. Dear nephew of Roosevelt Delma, Daniel Hector, David Hector, Steven Delma, Patrick Hector, Capello Hector, Frantz Felisma, Eddy St. Vil, Marie Denise Hector, Patricia Macean, Daphnee Felisma, Bertha Birotte. He is also survived by many cousins from the Macean, Delma, Hector, Milord, Aurelin, Coq, Felisma and Alexis families.
Stephen’s Graveside Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker St. WEST ROXBURY. Visiting Hours will be held Thursday 4-7 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Stephen left such a positive impact on his family, especially his mother. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
