Thomas Michael Tannas

Thomas M. Tannas of West Roxbury, passed away on February 16, 2023. He was 62 years old. 

Tommy was the loving son of the late Tofe and Frances (Joseph) Tannas. Beloved brother of Mansour Tannas of Dorchester, Theresa Mahoney and her husband Paul of Norwood and the late Elizabeth Votruba. Brother-in-law of Frank Votruba of Canton. Nephew of Gladys Laham and the late Louise and Doris Joseph. Dear uncle of Nicholas and Christopher Tannas, Kimberly Votruba-Matook, Michael Votruba, Krysten Hurwitz, Meaghan Mertz and the late Danielle Tannas. Great uncle of George Matook, Kassiani Matook, Noah Votruba, Jack and Matthew Hurwitz and Madison and Maeve Mertz.

Tommy's Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church 55 Emmonsdale Rd. WEST ROXBURY. Visitation in the Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas’ memory may be made to Autism Services Assoc. 47 Walnut St. Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Autism Services Assoc. and the May Institute for their many years of caring for and enriching Tommy’s life.

Tommy will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Boston.
