Virginia E. (Rivera) Cruz

Virginia E. Cruz of Roslindale passed away peacefully at her home on November 23, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old.

Virginia was the loving and devoted mother of Jenny Mendez Isenburg and her husband Mark of Sarasota, FL, Jesus Manuel Mendez II of Roslindale, Augustin Mendez of Roslindale, Ralph Cruz and his wife Lancy Lee of Quincy and William Cruz of Roslindale. Cherished grandmother, “Nana,” of William Nazario and his late wife Sigrid Trarbach Nazario, Marcia Ramos Sosa and her husband Juan Carlos Sosa, Mark Mendez, Christopher Isenburg, Melissa Cruz, and Jessica Cruz. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Brunilda Rivera of CA and the late Mercedes, Miguel, Angel Tomas, Rafael, Genoveva, Luz Maria, Fernando, John, Carlos, and Miguelito.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Visiting hours Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (at the corner of Centre St.) WEST ROXBURY.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn and visitors must observe social distancing and limit their time in the Funeral Home.

Virginia will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
